Video – Preproduction

Preproduction: the planning and set up before starting a project

This can be done by using scripts, storyboards and mood boards to create a draft to shorten the production process and overall more efficient.

Video is used to create both VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality)

How to key frame:

  • select clip
  • use playback head to mark location
  • click the “diamond/circle” to add a grey marker
  • add more than one to be able to create a fade effect by dragging the keyframe up or down to change its opaqueness of the frame (as you move the key frame up or down the numbers that change give the percentage of opaqueness). A key frame can be moved at any point after it has been set up
